The Jackson Family Online

Thanks to Mike Varner our hot water heater is fixed!!! I had a feeling it was just the pilot light but wasn’t quite sure how to check or relight it. Last night we had what was a big storm I think…and sometimes that makes some kind of draft that blows the pilot light out. We will be very grateful for hot water tomorrow morning!!
I enjoyed another walking time in the park tonight, such beautiful weather outside.
Lauren sang her solo in front of the entire choir class today and did splendid…I was so proud of her! She was scared to death but made it through so I think her confidence overall will be much greater. Each little baby step helps us to face the next challenge.
I’m getting ready to go do my talk tonight at the ladies thing at church. I’m sure it will be a pleasant evening…and I’m so glad tomorrow is Friday. Friday’s are lighter days for me and it always feels good to get to the end of the week. Tomorrow night my plan is to go pick up my computer…should be nice to have it back.
Saturday morning is contest time and at this point everybody is sounding good…I just will be glad to get it done with…The next two weeks I’ve given myself the gift of no before school choir on Tuesdays and Thursdays…woohoo!!
Overall…things are going alright. I’ve had to crack back down on the fact with the kids that if we aren’t respectful and kind to each other than we don’t go anywhere else or get to use things like ipods…but thankfully at the moment they are peacefully playing a game together.
